25/10 - An ecumenical delegation of the Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the European Union (COMECE) and of the Conference of European Churches (CEC) met with ambassador Edita Hrdá, Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the EU, on Monday 24 October 2022, to exchange on the implementation of the Czech EU Presidency’s priorities.

25/10 - COMECE received a delegation of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly on Orthodox of the Greek Parliament. The meeting included the participation of Fr. Manuel Barrios Prieto and Jørgen Skov Sørensen, General Secretaries of COMECE and CEC respectively.

22/10 - A COMECE delegation participated in the Krakow International Conference on the topic "War in Europe: What the European Union will be like?". The COMECE delegation was composed of H.E. Mgr. Youssef Soueif (Maronite Archbishop of Tripoli), H.E. Mgr. Ladislav Német (International Bishops' Conference of Saints Cyril and Methodius), Fr. Manuel Barrios Prieto (COMECE General Secretary) and Marek Mišák (COMECE adviser on the EU External Action).
Mgr. Német expressed the "need for a credible EU enlargement perspective for the Western Balkans along with Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia".
The event was co-organised by: Foundation Tadeusza Pieronka, COMECE, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, the EPP Polish Delegation to the European Parliament and the CDE.
